Education
A bay area native, Dr. Mehvish Mirza graduated from Santa Clara University with her undergraduate degree in cell and molecular biology. She started working in the biotech industry and realized she missed the people. Working in cancer research fulfilled her love for science, but she needed an outlet for her extroverted creativity. She decided to go back to school to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Western University of Health Science. Combining science, art, technology, and her love for helping people, dentistry made her career dreams come true.
Philosophy
She is committed to doing dentistry differently, with a focus on a biomimetic approach. This minimally invasive method to dentistry is evidence-based and strives to conserve the health of the natural tooth structure. With precision and artistry, she cares for the health and beauty of each smile with comfortable treatments for long-lasting results.
Home Life
Dr. Mirza loves spending time with her husband and their two children. They love the community and being involved together. You may find her reading a good book, enjoying a hike, trying new restaurants, or traveling to new places. Her one weakness is ice cream, she just can’t say no to the cold, sweet treat.
